Triumph for freedom of Panorama in EU debate

The EU has had its vote on the proposal to remove the Freedom of Panorama - and the right has been protected. Even the MEP who proposed removal of the right ended up voting against his own proposal, so vociferous was the campaign against the amendment.
A big thank you to everyone who signed the petition - it makes a big difference to small publishers such as us - and many others as well. And you can continue to take a selfie with Buckingham Palace in the background without having to ask HM The Queen for permission to put it on your Facebook page...
