Free party to celebrate the opening of new Whitney building

Maybe you don't have an invitation to tonight's light show and dedication ceremony, but you can still celebrate the opening of the new Whitney building.
On Saturday 2 May, join in a free, all-ages block party. No tickets are required to attend the all-day event, which features activities and performances designed by artists and community organizations. Additionally,there will be free admission to the Museum—advance tickets are no longer available, but a limited number will be distributed on the day.
