Hosted by Director Suzanne Buljan and opened by Prof. Nikos Papastergiadis, this season looks at a sense of place and its significance in the construction of collective narratives, memories and identities. Exhibitions include new work from Phillip George, ‘Writing the Landscape’, and Iran by Iranian photographer Gohar Dashti presented in association with Head On Photo Festival. Also included are James Mauger and Ireneusz Luty, whose work will be on the Street Screen throughout the season, and the Australian/Turkish duo Markus Andersen and Elif Suyabatmaz in the Emerging Artist Program. A new exhibition from Françoise Holtzmacher will go on show in The Social Gallery.
Light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP required.
