Royal Academy 'Premiums' show opens today

RA Schools has played a vital role in the education and career development of some of Britain’s most successful artists. For many of them, their first chance to exhibit in a major museum space came half way through their studies here, at ‘Premiums’, the RA Schools’ annual interim exhibition.

This year's exhibition showcases the work of 17 students and includes photography, painting, sculpture, installation and work in video, film and digital animation.

Many of the works are available to buy, with sales of work enabling the ongoing studio production of a new generation of contemporary artists.
