It’s that time of year again, when the folks at LEGO show what they can do with those little toy bricks
Over the past few years, they have shown us a 30m LEGO Christmas Tree, Giant Advent Calendar and a walk-through Snow Globe. So what festive treat, does LEGO have in store this year….
Christmas 2014 sees Santa landing in Covent Garden Piazza, on his sleigh of course, which is pulled along by nine reindeer, with Rudolph leading the charge. There is an empty seat next to Santa on the sleigh, so kids can climb aboard and take a ‘sleigh selfie’.
Once again, this impressive installation has been designed and built by the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional, Duncan Titmarsh, who undoubtedly has every child’s dream job, building with LEGO all day for a living!
Santa, his sleigh and nine reindeer are made with over 700,000 LEGO bricks and took 32 days to build. It will be on the North/East Covent Garden Piazza until 29 December.
