While the rest of the UK bathes in sunshine, St Pancras and its passengers have been basking underneath a bright rainbow of colour. With artist David Batchelor’s Tetris-like creation, which is currently suspended high above the millions of visitors to the station, the concourse has been hit by a veritable kaleidoscope of bold colour.
St Pancras International has a notable public art programme, which sees new contemporary art suspended from its enormous Barlow shed(243ft wide x 100ft high). David’s piece is the latest piece in the rotation.
