Despite its flaws, the British Museum's 'Vikings: Life and Legend' exhibition is well worth a visit - but there is very little time left as this Sunday, 22 June, is the final day. Truly beautiful jewellery and other evidence of peaceful and indeed civilized existence and widespread trade give a different view of a race often portrayed merely as violent marauders.
