See out the old year with new art in Bath

A wide range of fine and applied arts have been brought together for the Christmas 2013 exhibition at the Quest Gallery, Bath. Prices start at £40.

Some some new ringsets by the renowned designer Wendy Ramshaw are available. Younger designers include Jenny Deans, Nan Nan Liu and Sarah Herriot.

Silver pieces from Ane Christensen include the vibrant ‘Nervous Bowl’ and ‘Ribbon Candle Sticks’.

The gallery is known for its fine glass. The specialty glass is there, but also some beautiful blown glass by Peter Layton and Sarah Wiberley.

Ann Gardner’s bold colours and brushstrokes contrast with Martin Yeoman’s more muted pallet. Caroline Bays presents some vibrant scenes from the Suffolk coast.

The gallery is opening late on Saturday 14 December and Saturday 21 December. You are welcome to visit the gallery and enjoy wine and mince pies as well as interesting art
