If you are in Paris any time up to 9 June this year, be sure to catch 'Dark Romanticism: From Goya to Max Ernst' at the Musee D'Orsay. Following its run at the Städel Museum Frankfurt, the exhibition moved to the D'Orsay in March. The show has a mixture of famous (Friedrich, Delacroix, Goya, Ernst and others) and little known (Carl Friedrich Lessing, Alfred Kubin) artists. As is often the case, some of the lesser lights make exceptional impact.
