Ben Uri exhibitions become free to everyone

Free entry to all Ben Uri exhibitions from 19 April 2013        
    

Ben Uri has announced the launch of its new business Preferred Partner scheme with its first agreement commencing April 2013.   

The long-established and highly respected private London art dealer ‘Manya Igel Fine Art’ has agreed terms for its benefits as a Preferred Partner and as a result Ben Uri is able to withdraw all entry charges to the museum and all its exhibitions at its Boundary Road Gallery in St John’s Wood.    

Ben Uri chair David Glasser said:   

 We are absolutely thrilled that, five years after the Board personally underwrote the costs of withdrawing all entry and activity charges for children under 16 years of age, we are now able to fulfil our ambition of offering Free Entry to all our exhibitions at Boundary Road for everyone. Our whole reason for existing is to share with the widest public from home and abroad our world-class collection of 1300 great works and the 1300 great stories they generate alongside our diverse programme of temporary exhibitions. Now, as a result of our new Preferred Partnership scheme we have removed all financial obstacles from all visitors and maximise access for the very parts of our communities that right now, in this harsh period of austerity, most need the inspiration art can provide. Ben Uri is now one of the very few London museums that offer Free Entry to its temporary and collection exhibitions. This is the model Ben Uri hopes to carry forward to a future location in the heart of Central London in the coming years.
