Kelvin Okafor's photorealist drawings are on show at The Royal Society of British Artists’ annual exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries, from 6–17 March.
After exhibiting his portrait of Heath Ledger in The Threadneedle Prize last year, Okafor’s works have been featured on BBC online and won prizes in the Cork Street Open.
Jonathan Jones, writing for the Guardian, called him ‘a miraculous artist’. He went on: ‘If Leonardo da Vinci was alive today and he saw what Okafor has achieved with pencil, paper and a bit of charcoal, he would recognise a talent well worthy of his respect’.
Okafor's latest drawing Undeviating has been selected for the Royal Society of British Artists annual exhibition.
At only 27 years old, Okafor is proving himself an artist to watch.
The Royal Society of British Artists annual exhibition runs until 17 March
