Turner Contemporary, Margate, one of Britain's many exciting regional art galleries, tell us that the half-term break is coming up, so if you have children, or just feel like a bit of a kid yourself, you could do worse than head for Margate and see what the gallery has to offer.
Alongside a rare opportunity to see Rosa Barba discuss her current exhibition and installation Subconscious Society, Siobhan Davies Dance stages a weekend of performance with To hand, which sees dance artist Matthias Sperling move across the gallery space whilst balancing on a set of everyday objects. Adults and children can help artist Chris Daniels to create Unravel – Britain’s longest hand-painted film – at the drop-in family workshops taking place during half-term week.
