The Association of Art Historians’ annual New Voices one-day symposium will be hosted by the University of Nottingham on 24 November. Organized by the AAH Student Members Committee, New Voices one-day conferences provide a forum for current doctoral students of art history and visual culture to present and discuss their current research in a stimulating, informal and supportive context. The conferences are open to all.
The theme of this year's post-graduate conference will be 'Art and its Hierarchies' and is set to provide a platform for some interesting papers from emergent scholars. Please click here to see the timetable for the day, speakers and their paper titles. The day will draw to a close with a keynote address: ‘Gender, space and plates: Renaissance hierarchies of 'art' under the spotlight’, by Dr Gabriele Neher (Lecturer, Faculty of Arts, University of Nottingham). The event is open to all, to book, please click here.
