The Ben Uri reckons that this has to be the most exciting and inspiring art exhibition in any London gallery or museum this April.
The gallery is celebrating 250 schoolchildren’s remarkable talent and creativity. On show together are pupils from four schools from the London Boroughs of Brent, Barnet, Camden and Westminster:
St. Saviours C of E Primary School
Christopher Hatton Primary School
Menorah Foundation School
Anson Primary School
This exhibition is part of the museum’s UK wide ‘Art in the Open’ Learning programme which reaches thousands of schoolchildren every month right across the country through its rich and exciting learning packs, all inspired by the Ben Uri collection.
This exhibition precedes the launch of a brand new online learning module exploring the theme of ‘Portraits’, which will join the current ‘Relationships’, ‘Movement’ and ‘A Sense of Place’ modules, which are currently accessible through the National Education Network.
The exhibition runs from Monday 16 April to Sunday 29 April and the gallery is open from 10 a.m. till 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 12 p.m. till 4 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is Free.
Not to be missed.
