As part of its programme in bringing international contemporary fine and applied arts to the West country, the Quest Gallery is exhibiting the work of Kenneth Draper RA with photographer Jean Macalpine.

Kenneth Draper RA and Jean Macalpine are both inspired by landscape, especially the light and colour of the Island of Menorca where they have lived and worked for the last 18 years. Although their mediums are radically different, with Draper’s mixed media constructions and Macalpine’s inkjet photographs, there is an intriguing dialogue between them in their work.

There will be a conversation with Jean Macalpine at the Royal Crescent Hotel from 7.45  to 9.00 p.m. on 10 March.  Tickets for this are £10 and can be obtained from the gallery.
