Whitney Wees: Faces and Feelings

For families with children aged 4–5

Even the youngest art aficionados know that artists often say it with feeling! In these sessions, the children will look at the expressions and emotions on view in paintings and photographs throughout the galleries.

7 January  10.30–11.30 a.m.

21 January  10.30–11.30 a.m.

28 January 10.30–11.30 a.m.

$10 per family (free for Family Series members or Friend-level members and higher). Admission to events includes Museum admission. Registration is recommended; drop-ins are welcome if space is available.

Stroller tour: Real/Surreal

For parents with babies 0–18 months

If your wee ones are rather too wee for Faces and Feelings, Real/Surreal is for you – and them. Whitney Teaching Fellows, PhD candidates in art history, lead engaging tours of current exhibitions for new mothers and fathers when the Museum is closed to the public. Crying babies are welcome!

6 January  12–1 p.m. wait list only

3 February  12–1 p.m.

$25 per adult ($10 for Family Series members or Friend-level members and higher). Registration is required for these sessions.
