A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Panama is endangered owing to the Panamanian government’s plans to construct a Coastal Highway.
Keyes C. Hardin, an American lawyer who has been living and working in Panama City's historic district for eight years, is now trying to keep it from being destroyed. His company, Conservatorio SA, has been doing a fantastic job helping to revitalize the beautiful district, known as Casco Viejo, while maintaining its architectural heritage and social diversity. The beauty of this World Heritage Site and the grave threat to it now needs to be brought to the attention of the media on a larger scale and reach an international audience.
